When Losi introduced the LMT monster truck in 2020, it immediately set a high bar for solid axle RC monster truck performance. Now, with the LMT 2.0, Losi raises the bar even higher. Whether you're a hobbyist who just wants to race and bash or a Monster Jam™ fan eager to bring the stadium thrills home, the Losi LMT 2.0 is the truck for you.
The most exciting addition to the LMT 2.0 is one you'll have to DRIVE to believe. DRIVE (Dynamic Response Intelligent Vehicle Envelope) is an innovative Spektrum receiver technology that, in Freestyle Mode, enables the LMT 2.0 to hold wheelies, do stoppies, and even “bicycle” on two wheels just like your Monster Jam™ favorites! Brought to you by Spektrum DRIVE Technology, Freestyle Mode lets you experience firsthand what it's like to be a monster truck driver.
Many more improvements give the updated LMT 2.0 platform even greater performance, durability, and Monster Jam™ realism. The LMT 2.0 has eight shocks, just like full-size monster trucks. Because the real trucks don't have springs wrapped outside of the shock bodies, neither does the LMT 2.0. Springs are now internal, preserving the scale looks with no loss of performance. New molded replica reservoirs add even more scale detail.
The included Spektrum S680 Steering servo now comes with a 25T spline. Its metal top supports a new servo saver with a dual step helical design. Through sudden jolts or hard landings, the dual step keeps your Losi LMT 2.0 tracking straight. Belleville springs replace a traditional coil spring to give steering a more precise and accurate feel.
The twin vertical plate chassis now features powder-coated plates — green on Grave Digger and blue on Son-uva Digger. A redesigned, two-piece axle housing with new, lower 4-link mounts and larger 6x15x5mm pinion bearings increases strength and durability.
With wider offset 2.6” wheels and slightly taller tires, the Losi LMT 2.0 appears much more dominating and scale than its predecessor. The faux beadlocks can be removed or painted to give your monster truck a custom look. Along with accurate sidewall and logo details, the officially licensed BKT tires have a more scale and less aggressive chevron tread pattern that improves handling on a wide range of surfaces — from groomed dirt or carpet monster truck tracks to driveways, yards, and local parks.
For added convenience, the LMT 2.0 flip-top cage now flips forward for easier battery access and secures to the chassis with a simple twist-lock. Both factory-finished body options — Grave Digger (LOS04028T1) or Son-uva Digger (LOS04028T2) — include exciting scale details such as exhaust headers, LED headlights, a driver figure, and chassis sponsor plates. Each is officially licensed by Monster Jam™ and Feld Motorsports.
The Losi LMT 2.0 comes ready-to-run with only a battery and charger required. The included Spektrum DX3 radio perfectly fits the needs of both new and experienced RC drivers. Using its throttle limiting function, novice racers can limit top speed to 50% or 75% of the monster truck's full potential until they have the confidence to unleash it all. The transmitter's battery voltage indicator shows the charge level of your Smart battery in real time. When the voltage gets low, an alarm sounds. Just pop in a charged pack and you're ready to tear up more dirt with the Losi LMT 2.0!
Spektrum has custom-engineered a new 6-channel receiver for the LMT 2.0 that includes innovative DRIVE (Dynamic Response Intelligent Vehicle Envelope) Technology. You have to experience it to believe it! Spektrum DRIVE Technology provides three pre-programmed drive modes that you can toggle between “on the fly” using your thumb on the DX3 transmitter's A/B rocker switch.
For incredible top speed and torque, the LMT 2.0 features a 2S to 4S capable power system with a Spektrum 3668 2800Kv brushless motor and Spektrum 130A ESC. Using a 4S LiPo battery, it can deliver speeds of 45+ mph. To help you manage all of that muscle, the metal top, steel gear, 25T Spektrum S680 high torque steering servo is equipped with an innovative, dual step, helical design servo saver. It improves holding power while giving the steering a precise, accurate feel.
The LMT 2.0's transmitter-activated Freestyle mode is a first for any RC monster truck, made possible by Spektrum DRIVE Technology. In this mode, the electronics allow you to hold longer wheelies, balance for a stoppie, and even “bicycle” on two wheels — just like full-size Monster Jam™ trucks do during their skills challenge and freestyle runs.
The Spektrum DX3 Smart 2.4GHz transmitter included with the Losi LMT 2.0 offers many advanced features to meet the needs of first-time and experienced RC drivers. Using its throttle limiting function, novice racers can limit top speed to 50% or 75% of the monster truck's full potential until they have the confidence to unleash it all. Special trim knob assignments allow you to fine tune your truck while in freestyle mode.
You'll never have to wonder if your Losi LMT 2.0 monster truck's on-board battery needs a recharge. The Spektrum DX3 transmitter's battery voltage indicator shows you the charge level of your Smart battery in real time with just a glance. Once the battery level gets low, an alarm will also sound.
Star in your own Monster Jam™ events with the Losi LMT 2.0! This monster truck is available with your choice of two factory-finished scale bodies — Grave Digger (LOS04028T1) or Son-uva Digger (LOS04028T2). Each is highly detailed and officially licensed by Monster Jam™ and Feld Motorsports.
The LMT 2.0 now includes officially licensed BKT tires with a chevron tread pattern that's more scale but less aggressive, resulting in better handling on a greater variety of surfaces. The tires include sidewall and logo details to match the BKT tires used on real monster trucks.
With 2.6” wheels featuring a wider offset plus slightly taller tires and longer 4-link bars, the LMT 2.0 has a larger overall size and footprint compared to the previous LMT monster truck platform. It's more scale and more dominating! The wheel has a replica beadlock that you can remove or paint to customize the look of your truck.
Many scale details are included to give the officially licensed monster truck bodies a true scale look. The exhaust headers, LED headlights, a driver figure, and authentic lower chassis sponsor panels all make it easy to imagine you're driving the real truck.
The Losi LMT 2.0 utilizes a 6061-T6 aluminum twin vertical chassis plate design for extreme strength and durability. The chassis plates are powder-coated in green for the Grave Digger and blue for the Son-uva Digger.
The wheelie bump included with the Losi LMT 2.0 improves the realistic scale appearance while still functioning as a wheelie bar. The cross bar also includes provisions for a flag mount.
The solid front and rear axle housing of the LMT 2.0 has been redesigned with a stronger, 2-piece design. The lower 4-link mounts now have wider spacing and more material for increased strength and security. The third member has also been updated to accept the larger 6x15x5mm pinion bearings for better support and durability.
The new HD differentials improve strength and durability with the addition of cross-pin blocks and a larger cup for increased fluid capacity. All three HD differentials come filled with 1 million weight diff fluid.
Significant improvements have been made to how the LMT 2.0's flip-top cage mounts to the chassis. The cage now flips forward, making it easier to change the battery and maintain your monster truck. To secure the cage back into place, you simply flip the cage back down and lock it to the chassis.
The fluid-filled center diff allows for tuning with the added protection of torque-dampening Cush Drive. The rubber elastomer Cush Drive system absorbs high impact forces from the motor and from hard landings to increase drivetrain durability and reliability.
The LMT 2.0 comes equipped with the popular Losi Elastomer Battery Mounting System for a versatile battery hold down method.
