Ever Evolving Multipurpose Fighter
The versatile F-16 Fighting Falcon's adaptability to both air-to-air and air-to-ground missions makes it one of the cornerstones of the U.S. Air Force today. Block 50 evolutions of the aircraft were deployed from 1991 and equipped with the F110-GE-129 engine. Among F-16C airplanes, F-16CJ fighters were fitted with radar countermeasures. The aircraft's hugely varied capabilities were extended yet further via the CCIP program, which endowed F-16s with night fighter functionality and more.
