First sold in October 1981, the tall profile City was a popular addition to the Honda line-up, and in September 1982 its line-up was joined by the City Turbo, a model with a 100hp 1.2-liter inline-4 engine and turbocharger that sported a power bulge in the bonnet and air dam bumpers. The Motocompo went on sale at the same time as the City, and this 2.5hp 50cc engine scooter fit into the City’s trunk with its handlebars and seat folded down.
